You do not know everything about anything!

27 Dec

Ok, this is just a general rant, but it does relate to weight loss and dieting in a way. I’m just really sick and tired of hearing people preach about how they’ve got it all figured out. They may base it all on science or even personal experience, but what it comes down to is that one size does not fit all. Whether it’s diet, exercise, or even religion. Let me be more specific. I’m sick of fitness nuts who seem to live on top of a soap box spewing their organic only, anti-fast food propaganda. They act like you are a horrible, lazy, pathetic human being for being weak and eating a hamburger…or two…or seven. Anyway, that’s not important. What’s important is that we all have to find our own way. If you think diet pills are going to help you in your journey, maybe they will. Nothing is ever 100% all the time, and I respect you enough to know that you can make your own decisions and do your own research. Just because you’re not choosing what I think works for me, does not make you dumb, uninformed, or unmotivated. The same thing goes for religion: no one really knows. It’s called faith because that’s what it is-faith that there is something more out there. However, you can’t prove that there isn’t anything either. I guess, in a nutshell, I’m sick of negative, egotistical know-it-alls who insist that you don’t know what you’re talking about. I think these kinds of people are only going to discourage success in the long run. So I suggest surrounding yourself be supportive, compassionate people who understand that life is one big learning process for everyone…not just everyone but themselves.
